Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is now testing table-side payment for credit cards in Texas. Table-side payments are a more efficient method to process credit cards and a way to reduce credit card fraud. A recent study found that over 60% of all credit card data
loss involved restaurants. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is using a system provided by Verifone and National Bankcard Systems of Austin, Texas.
