American Express is pulling out all the stops on the "Delta SkyMiles" credit card by offering cardholders the opportunity to earn double miles on everything between now and July 15. Normally, "Delta SkyMiles" credit cardholders earn two miles for purchases at stand-alone supermarkets, gas stations, drugstores, home improvement and hardware stores, the U.S. Postal Service, wireless phone bills and Delta Air Lines. The special promotion applies to both the "Delta SkyMiles Credit Card" and the "Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card." Cardholders must enroll their cards for to qualify for extra miles. There is a limit of 20,000 "Bonus SkyMiles" earned as part of this promotion.
In each year of card membership, miles are limited to $60,000 of eligible spending ($100,000 for holders of the "Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card", and unlimited for holders of the "Platinum Delta SkyMiles Card").
