You can now receive “rewards” points for using the new MasterCard-branded multi-purpose Cendant Card for travel and entertainment purchases. Cendant Business Services now offers its Cendant Rewards program as a tool to help companies increase volume with key suppliers, while providing attractive incentives for their employees to follow purchasing policies.
This new program benefits the company as well as the cardholder. When cardholders spend company money at the preferred suppliers, the company increases volume leverage with those suppliers, and the cardholder gets valuable attainable benefits.
The Cendant Rewards Program allows companies to select up to seven key suppliers from fields such as airlines, hotels, restaurants, rental car companies, fuel providers or vehicle maintenance facilities. Members receive one bonus point for every dollar spent with these key suppliers. In addition, members also receive one bonus point for every dollar spent at Cendant-brand companies such as Avis, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Knights Inn, Ramada, Villager Lodge and Wingate Inns, where they can also redeem their earned Rewards Certificates at face value.
Starting with as few as 25,000 rewards points, members can redeem them for airline tickets at any major airline. These are not frequent flyer tickets, but real tickets with no black-out dates or seat restrictions. What’s more, the cardholder earns frequent flier miles on the flight! Cardholders can fly around the world for 150,000 points. Other valuable rewards are available beginning at the 7,500 point level.
