The Texas House voted 88-46 to pass an amendment to a home equity loan bill that limits bank-owned ATM fees to a maximum of $1.00 per transaction or $1.50 per transaction if the ATM is owned by a non-financial institution. There is apparently little opposition to the bill in the Texas Senate.
